Sometimes plans change a little bit. In those cases it is good to be around flexible people.
The day started off great with a couple of internal meetings at Ineffable. I’m definitely proud of the teams growth and the assertive approach of our project managers to start the year strong.
During lunch time, I picked up a friend who is a popular YouTuber who came over to Suriname for a month for a influencer marketing project. She challenged me to a food eating contest on who can eat a roti the fastest.
Who do you think won?
Roti is an Indian dish that is considered one of Suriname’s main cultural dishes ever since it traveled along with Indian migrant workers in the 19th Century after slavery was abolished.
After that, I picked up the kids from daycare and spent a lot of my time with my daughter at home.
My wife and I closed off the day with the Rotary New Year’s Party, which was an event for Fellows from all three Rotary clubs in Suriname. It was on the 9th floor and rooftop of the Assuria Hermitage HighRise, the highest building in our country. I think I have mentioned it in a couple of posts on Steem before when it was still under construction.
The Assuria Hermitage HighRise is now finished and officially the highest building in Suriname

My personal twist:
For me the main focus will be on posting 4 things I did every day instead of 4 creative pushups.
