One of my favorite all time lines is the start to LL Cool J’s “Momma Said Knock You Out”
Don't call it a comeback. I've been here for years.
That’s how it has felt to write on a daily basis for the past week. Yes, I’m very well aware that we are just at the start. And yes, I’m extremely grateful for the support of the Steem community for their appreciation and support. For everyone who has upvoted any of my posts and/or left a comment, thank you so much!
This weekend my first real challenge for the #2020Vision posts became a fact. I couldn’t come up with 4 things I did yesterday that I’m proud of.
Of course, I’m proud that we had our annual New Years Dinner with Ineffable. A group of young ambitious people between 19 and 35 sat together and had dinner, mostly without their mobile phone. We are trying to instate that mobile phones are not allowed when we are together with the group. Which let to a very funny situation where I went to the restroom and everyone immediately grabbed their phone when I was out of sight.

The best part of yesterday was the ‘Create Your Own 2020’ event I did together with 2 local speakers that I look up to a lot. It was the 4th edition of the event and the third time we teamed up to do a personal development training together. The chemistry was so good that one of the participants who is also a trainer noted that she loved how we constantly refer to each other when elaborating on topics and giving examples.

Also on a positive note:
- I’ve managed to post a #2020Vision every day since starting
- I got 5000 steps or more in on my @actifit counter 12 times in the past 13 days
- #2020Vision has kept my Twitter feed alive, which would be on hibernation mode otherwise
- Posting #2020Vision on my personal Facebook has also be very well received
I think I’m finally ready to kickstart my 2020.
@pixiepost also asked if I can start nominating people to join in on the #2020Vision challenge, which I of course want to do as well. I’ll start by bringing back active Surinamese Steemians and move towards reconnecting with the #Seven777 tribe.
For those who find posting daily to big of a hassle or don’t want to do push ups on cam. How about a #2020Vision Revision?
Everyone I nominate, I’ll ask to either:
A) Do the traditional #2020Vision challenge, 4 push up video every day
B) My altered version, 4 things you’re proud of every day
OR
C) The Active Steemian challenge:
4 comments on Steem posts every day
4 upvotes on Steem posts every day
4 Steem posts a week
4 Resteems a week
Today’s #2020Vision nomination:
@gvkanten
We want you back on Steem. And bring your photography along ;).
To stimulate more engagement, I will add a daily question to my posts from now on to get the discussion going.
Today’s question:
What achievement are you most proud of this weekend?
The #2020Vision Diary is a challenge as part of @pixiepost’s #2020Vision project.
Read more about it here.
My personal twist:
For me the main focus will be on posting 4 things I did every day instead of 4 creative pushups.
