I came across a couple of posts on Hive that had the tag #30daybloggingchallenge. I liked the idea, and so this is my challenge.
I manage stress by vegging out in some way. The funny thing is that my job is mostly stress-free.
I work as a postie delivering mail, so my day sees me on a motorcycle. Anyone who's a rider through and through knows that riding is a stressless joy, even if drivers do moronic things. Any rider who says otherwise is not a real rider.
However, I am a Team Leader, so the most stressful part of my role is dealing with the team. On the other hand, my team is mostly self-managed and a great group of people. That is except for one, and she isn't too much bother because she comes in super early and is often gone by the time I get in.
Add to that, when I'm riding I have a Bluetooth headset so I can listen to music while I ride.
I also like to do woodworking when I feel motivated, which lends itself nicely to working out frustrations. Although sometimes it causes more frustrations.
All in all, I feel I have a mostly stress-free life, other than the fact I have a wife and a kid. They're mostly good people though so I don't get too stressed.
