I enjoyed the first day of 34C3 yesterday. CCC was one of the events I wanted join for long (another one is Burning Man). It was completely another world inside the Leipzig Messe. According to the organizer, 15000 people participate during the 4 days. From babies & toddlers to experienced hackers all looked enjoying the conference in their way. And so did I.
34C3の1日目、行ってきました。長いこと参加したかったイベントのひとつ（もうひとつはアメリカのバーニングマン！）。いやあ、ライプチヒメッセの会場の中はもう別世界・・・。主催者によると15000人来場するようで、赤ちゃんから経験豊富なハッカーまでみんな思い思いにイベントを楽しんでいるようでした。大人の文化祭？いくつになってもこういう楽しみがあるのっていいな。
Talks I listened to were "Unleash your smart-home devices: Vacuum Cleaning Robot Hacking", "Tightening the Net in Iran", "Social Cooling - big data’s unintended side effect" etc. All speakers had good sense of humor and I laughed a lot in addition to learn from their insights.
トークは"Unleash your smart-home devices: Vacuum Cleaning Robot Hacking", "Tightening the Net in Iran", "Social Cooling - big data’s unintended side effect"などなどいろいろ聞いて、みんな話がうまい。スマホやパソコンぽちぽちする人は本当に少なくて、真剣に聞きつつ時に大爆笑。TEDトークなどともスタイルが違うんですよね。
Last but not least, I'm thankful to my family that they sent me to 34C3 :)
あと最後になりますが、34C3に行きたいな・・・と言った時に「いいよ、いっといで」と気持よく送り出してくれた家族に感謝。それでは今日もお昼から行ってきます！
