It was still dark that morning but people began to flock to one of the traditional markets in Lhokseumawe, Aceh Province.
Someone seemed to be carrying vegetables on his shoulders to be distributed to the traders.
Merchandise began to be held in stalls with a variety of fresh vegetables and fruit neatly arranged on the table.
The faint screams of the merchants began to be heard calling by offering their wares to market visitors who began to flock to buy basic necessities.
The traditional market is a place for buying and selling activities that are carried out directly between buyers and traders without intermediaries.
Although the expansion of modern markets is increasing, the existence of traditional markets is still maintained.
