Yes - by popular demand! We're in the festival period for parts of the world, where rituals include gift-giving. An EDSMM is the perfect gift for Hive friends (I know, I would say that, but it is 😁). Spread some love over the next few weeks by sending an EDSMM to someone (HBSI are also a great gift, especially for new and smaller accounts).

EDSMM Contests
Last week, the challenge was about investing in precious metals as a form of saving. Lots of great information in the comments to last week's post. I liked the one about precious metals forming 5% of your savings and investments.

THIS WEEK'S CONTEST
Okay, for this week's contest, we're going to think a little about risk, which has been mentioned several times in the comments when when we talking about savings or where to invest. One of the things that has been said about minimising risk is about knowing where you are investing and the governance or management of your savings or investments.
Hive is governed by the witnesses, so the challenge this week is all about witnesses. Do you vote for witnesses - yes or no and why? How do you choose who to vote for? What do you think about the idea of decentralised governance? (Also tell us if you are completely mystified by any of these questions 😁).
