At the age of 13, Luke found himself experiencing homelessness, enduring the hardships that accompanied such a difficult situation. However, he refused to let circumstances define him and instead focused on transforming his life for the better. Through sheer resilience and perseverance, Luke managed to overcome his homelessness in 2018, a testament to his unwavering spirit.
In early 2019, Luke faced another hurdle when he was diagnosed with HIV. However, he approached this health challenge with unwavering courage and sought the necessary medical treatment. By diligently adhering to the prescribed treatment regimen, Luke has achieved an undetectable viral load, reflecting his commitment to maintaining his health and well-being.
Alongside his journey, Luke has also confronted the realities of living with schizophrenia. Recognizing the importance of mental health, he has actively engaged in treatment, receiving psychiatric injections every three months for the past two years. By actively managing his condition, Luke showcases his determination to lead a fulfilling life, despite the challenges he encounters.
