En este día 3º del Blogging challenge, que nos pide compartir nuestra cita favorita, extraño enormemente mis amados libros, con páginas subrayadas y notas al margen, pero afortunadamente, tengo internet para buscar y compartir con ustedes una cita bibliográfica.

Seleccioné una de Khalil Gibran, que puede ser impactante y que obliga a la reflexión:

En efecto, creo que las cosas materiales pueden llevar a falsas necesidades, a dependencias, a convertir la comodidad en el mayor de los valores, haciéndonos sentir cada vez más fríos, egoístas y cómodos. El amor puede despertar valores dormidos, pero puede romper la comodidad y la inercia espiritual.

Las palabras de Khalil Gibran nos llevan de la mano desde la existencia a la esencia, desde la realidad material a la espiritual. Y me pregunto ¿dónde quedaría la realidad virtual? ¿puede alguno de mis lectores ayudarme con esta reflexión?

No te disperses, selecciona lo que más te interese, palabras que escuche de mi padre, cuando yo me estaba iniciando en el mercado laboral y trataba de lograr mi tiempo completo. Un gran consejo, pues al ir seleccionando se va originando una especialización, que con el tiempo se puede ir ampliando.
La experiencia permite a los mayores (ya hoy lo soy) observar realidad que no detectan, a veces, miradas más jóvenes.
