On October 24, 2021 @indayclara invited me to join Hive Cebu Virtual Meet-up and I was delighted because It would be good a opportunity to learn things about crypto stuffs from Cebu Hivers.

As for Manileño like me they did a great job explaining things even this event is exclusive for Bisaya Speakers.

I would like to thank the person behind this wonderful event and very much informative for beginners like me in crypto since I just started on August 07, 2021. Thank you @indayclara @ybanezkim26 @glecerioberto @thegaillery @themanualbot @anneporter for delivering your message clearly and modestly as far as you could it's not because I can understand Bisaya but the way you deliver it that's why I didn't have a hard time understanding things even though I don't speak Bisaya.

I would like to share my experience as a learner and give you some insight on how the event turned out...

EXPECTATIONS OF THE EVENT

• I expected to learn more and earn more with the Speakers. They might say "We're not expert" but they help me understand things that I don't know yet and I really learn I lot from this event and I would like to join also in the future meetups because it's fun and informative at the same time.

• I'm expecting I would be nervous at first because this is the first time I participated in the virtual meetup and meeting all of this great persons and also @indayclara and @ybanezkim26 makes the event entertaining and fun so it just went normal for me.

LEARNINGS FROM THE TALKS

Blockchain and Cryptocurrency

Even though I already know some basics of crypto because I started reading and learning things on my own when I started playing nft games like Splinterlands there are still things that I don't know in this category.

At first @glecerioberto and @thegaillery presented a video about "How cryptocurrencies work". Its a short video explanation about cryptocurrencies on the most easiest way to understand for beginners or people that doesn't have idea on cryptocurrencies.

Even though I read about cryptocurrencies there's still a question in my mind that this course answers and with the help of @thegaillery it makes it more easier to understand like what is the differences of Fiat and Cryptocurrency, how they works, and there differences on characteristic and attributes.

I tried to understand how blockchain works but it was really hard to understand it as a beginner but @glecerioberto makes it piece of cake and also with the addition of @themanualbot it really gives a new definition on how does this blockchain actually works.

Basics of Crypto Trading

By the help of @themanualbot I learn how the use binance for crypto trading. I already use some trading apps like Gate.io and Hive-engine but there are still things that's confusing like the how to sell crypto for fiat in P2P and @themanualbot explains it well.

What are NFT's and how to create/buy them?

If you don't know I'm a fan of NFT games and this is so helpful because I don't have idea on how to create one. Making NFT already went to my mind but I don't have artistry in me when it comes to drawing but thanks to @anneporter for giving us an insight on how to create and sell them. I'm planning to give it a try someday just let me learn how to draw :).

RECOMMENDATION FOR FUTURE MEETUPS

As for the speakers the only recommendation I would say is to keep continuing this kind of event wherein beginners on Hive becomes knowledgeable about the basics (advance mode in future please) and also entertaining at the same time. You guys did really well and I'm happy to witness this event.

And for the beginners out there I think you should participate in this kind of event because it will really help you to become more successful in this platform. Hive community is great if you look around meet this people that willing to help you without spending.

I would also like to thank other content creator that participated in this event.
