Welcome to my new Crusader Kings 2 AAR! This time I'll be trying to unify the whole Island of England and even make the Empire of Britannia on the new expansion Holy Fury as the Duke of Essex!
I forgot to take a picture of my character as soon as the game started but nothing much had happened until that point, well... That sounds like an understatement, I got a wife with pretty nice attributes and already had three children!
I got lucky early on and my second son even though he got the clubfooted trait, he also has the genius trait which is pretty good, I can probably make the first son a commander and try to get him killed or just imprison him and kill him just to have my second son become the heir to my holdings. Nothing wrong in killing your dynasty members to secure the future :^) especially so early on!
Well well, Guess who won't have to become a kinslayer? 7 years after saying that I was willing to kill my eldest son he says he wants to become a monk, this basically removes all his rights to become a heir to the dynasty and makes him chaste, allowing my second son to take the heir position without having to slay my children!
I have decided to attack the county of Surrey to the south, they proved to be a weak enemy and they where annexed to my duchy in no time at all! 3 counties, 95 to go to unify the main island!
This came out of nowhere, I was pushed down from a balcony and died! I was just 45 years old! WTF All my vassals like me and my people didn't manage to find the culprit... This is so disappointing, this character had so much more potential and time for conquering a few extra counties before his passing... oh well... at least now I get to play with my clubfooted genius son...
Genius, Clubfooted son, with a bunch of siblings and half siblings, all boys... that want a piece of the pie left from his father but with the high skills, I'm pretty sure I can manage to tame all of them.
Great... I got killed again in less than 5 years, probably one of the jealous brothers that wanted a piece of the kingdom... I will never know because he managed to do it without revealing himself... on to the next brother we go! At least my first character got lucky and got 9 sons so there's enough dynasty members to last a couple centuries if played right!
Well, I guess I'll be leaving this here for today... somehow the next character in line managed to become an eunuch without me noticing and now his only heir is a girl... I'll play tomorrow and figure out how to get my dynasty out of this hole.
