Enter comment spammer @user2627
They originally commented on my post about abuse here

@imjustsaying knew what was up. Hell, I even gave the spammer a chance to reform. Did they? Of course not. That requires too much work.
Comment spammers try to get paid with upvotes by making bulk insincere comments to their targets. You may have seen that many "Nice post" comments that strangely have no corresponding upvote. That's how a comment spammer operates. It was clear that this rascal was using a script of some sort to enumerate his many comments.
Two can play at that game.
So, I created an account previously for another project (@flagawhale) and thought this would be an opportunity to employ automation to warn @user2627's potential targets of this devious intent. This would serve another benefit of raising @neutralizer above the default 25 rep and enable the account to be used to wreck the rep of other scammers and abusers. I quickly went to work in Steem Python. Here is a sample.
This was AFTER I had drained @neutralizer of his voting power with downvotes so the plan was to swing back around and drop some flags. Before I did that, I decided to drop @abusereports a comment of said abuse.
It was a bit funny that @neutralizer got flagged a couple of times because people didn't seem to notice the comma.
Be advised @target-username, @user2627
Some interpreted this as @neutralizer calling out the target as a spammers. Needless to say, the situation was remedied after contacting both of the individuals so thankful for that. We did also get a lot of positive feedback so it was a good trial run.
I will caveat by saying that I don't want to add additional issues with blockchain bandwidth and size by follow commenting any spammer I find. I would prefer to just flag as would be more expedient. Perhaps, I would follow comment on those unsuspecting and well meaning targets that had upvoted the spammer. The method will be further refined. Efficient utilization of bandwidth should always be a consideration so will keep it in mind.
Oh, by the way...
Big Shoutout to @abusereports for taking action and laying the smackdown on that account. I will continue working with @neutralizer to bring it to 0.
