Spearfishing is another way of fishing. Unlike normal fishing that uses fishhook, spearo (who do spearfishing) uses speargun or polespear as fishing tool. They also dive into the sea to do spearfishing. Sometime, spearfishing is easier than normal fishing because you can see what you wanna catch. It also can be harder because you have to hold your breath when you dive (read : freediving), and you have to be clam underwater.
In my place, there are many spot that can be fishing location. My friends from Smoker Spearfishing Community Choose "Pulo Aceh" as their favourite site.
From banda aceh to Pulo Aceh, we use small boat (fit about 5 to 8 people). It takes about 2 hour or more for one trip.
