Steem power is not the only advantage to leave comments on people posts. You'll also create a name for yourself in the community and build your followers, giving you more consistent upvotes in future posts. I have asked some people to reply to comments I left on their post saying that they checked my blog after reading my comments, enjoying my content and deciding to follow me.
- Upvote your comments
The second end follows from the first. Upvote all your comments. It amazes me how many people do not take advantage of this. If you do not know, the comment section of each post is sorted by which the steam power is bestowed on it. Even if you do not have enough votes to add value to the comments, the number of people I see who forgot to do this will definitely rank your comments higher, giving more exposure and higher chances than others. people also rebel over your comments
- Upvote all replies on your post
As well as upvoting your own comments, it's beneficial for you to upvote everyone who replies on your post. If people see that you are increasing the number of commentators, this will encourage them to interact with your posts more often, bringing in consistent fans and followers. Simply put, if you help someone by utilizing their comments, they will help you with upvoting your post, a very friendly and great thing about the steemit community as a whole.
- Take advantage of 100% power when you start
When you write your post, you have 3 choices about how you want steem to be shared with you when you get paid. You can refuse payment, divide it 50/50 into steem power and steam dollars, or raise 100% with all your gifts paid with steam power. I recommend to utilize 100% power when you first start using steam to build your steem strength to get a stronger sound; this will definitely help with tip 2 and bump your comment up higher. If you choose to go 50/50, the steam dollar you receive takes 3.5 days to convert to steam for you to power the steam, so why not just put all your prizes straight to the steam power directly instead of having to wait.
- Consistent
I'm sure you've all heard the saying "consistency is the key to success" and this ring is right to be planted. Post normal content to your blog, give people a reason to follow you. If you only post randomly, with long loopholes between posts, there is no incentive to follow you. I tend to make two posts a day, quite often make more, and rarely do less but I post every day, so I can get 64 followers to my blog in 27 days. You can also be consistent in the type of content you post. If you make a particular post and people enjoy it, if they see you post more of this content regularly on your blog, it will likely follow you and give you more upvotes that are guaranteed in your post.
- Perseve
I know it can be disappointed when you spend a lot of time putting together a perfect post and not seeing the results you feel deserve. But as you continue to post, you'll see the amount you get for each post will continue to rise as well, you just have to keep trying. It also helps to reduce disappointment by changing my mind in steam. Many people agree that steem as cryptocurrency is highly undervalued and many predict a 10-time price increase in 10 months. Knowing this, now I am happy if my position only earns a few cents, because I am sure will plant steemit and steem and indeed see price increases, which means this post will be cheaper in the long run.

Being quite in decline can make your post look more attractive and professional, and much more interesting to upvote.

Perhaps the most cliché of all the tips on this list but I still consider it very important. You have to post what you want to post and not have it dictated by what you think should work.
