The management of the Forbes business publication has signed an agreement with representatives of the blockchain platform Civil.
The result of this agreement should be the introduction of technology into the content management system. According to the plans, at the beginning of next year, the magazine’s employees will post texts simultaneously on the Civil network and on the Forbes website.
At the same time, journalists who publish news about the cryptocurrency market will start using the blockchain first. After successful testing of technology, other authors of the journal will be able to connect to the blockchain.
According to experts, a decentralized platform will give Forbes the opportunity to ensure that all materials produced by the magazine are genuine.
Recall that the business publication is not the first media client of the platform. Earlier, Civil signed an agreement with the Associated Press news agency. Blockchain will help protect the rights to texts and understand how readers are involved in what the news agency reports.
Recently, more and more media are turning their attention to the cryosphere. Thus, it was previously reported that the largest Chinese technology publication will start selling subscriptions for bitcoins. It is planned that the subscription price in cryptocurrency will be 0, 01 bitcoin.
