Dear Adrealm Community,
Rumour has it there is a holiday coming. Really? We haven’t noticed — oh, wait, there is that pile of festive ornamentation in front of Plaza 66. Ah, Christmas. Right. Well, we’ve been too busy to notice, with team-members travelling around the world and across China. Some events have been behind closed doors, and the ink on a number of NDAs is damp even as we write. But we will have some photos to share from our next event, the Shanghai Game Trade Fair, which kicks off on December 16–17, 2018. We’ll be there. We’ll also be part of the shoal squiggling into the theatre to watch the Aquaman film, which premieres in our latitudes this week. This, of course, irrelevant; but, come on. It’s Aquaman. ’Tis the season to be salty.
Not all of us are off on trips to exotic locales, however — awesome tech doesn’t built itself. So, what’s new from our developers, quants, and data scientists?
Xhance, Adrealm’s data-attribution platform, continues to gain in strength and power. We’re now bringing more features online — this week: the fingerprint-attribution development — and polishing the ones that are already live, such as the Deferred Deep Link feature and the Data Export Report. Adrealm and Xhance at the Guangzhou Developer Meetup
Adrealm’s Xhance, our native decentralized data attribution platform, together with UPLTV, a UA and monetization SDK, was one of the key-organizers of the Guangzhou Developer Meetup held on December 6, 2018 at the Beta Café in Canton, China.
More than 200 developers and publishers joined the event to discuss the best strategies to enter the global market as well as the best practices to monetize mobile games and acquire users.
Coly Zhang, Head of Monetization at UpLTV, and Carl Cai, VP of Product, were among the keynote speakers.
What is UpLTV?
UPLTV is Adrealm’s sister company. It focuses on User Acquisition (UA) and monetization for mobile game publishers.

Xhance is a DApp for data attribution and ROI LTV analysis.

“Advertising and its Mental Laws” | Adrealm Papers on Fire
You may have noticed that last week our lucubrations were devoted to the advertising industry and the early interface of experimental psychology and advertising. In particular, we dedicated our time to the study of a book from the 1920’s: Advertising and its Mental Laws. Our inspiration was a recent 2018 paper in The Yale Law Journal entitled “The Obsolescence of Advertising in the Information Age,” by U Kentucky legal scholar Ramsi Woodcock.
