What is the "IT" that you need to add on "STEEM" to make it on steemit
Today we want to look at the best way to use your steem or steem backed dollars to boost your account on steemit.
Many mentors on steemit will tell you to use your steem or steem backed dollars invested to power up. Truth but not yet.
knowing what to do with your steem or steem backed dollars win from contests or bought from an exchange is a great step towards success on this blockchain.
I can not tell you the minimun to invest because very one has a different earning goal on steemit. To some users earning an extra $4 a day is such a big deal for their entire family. while to another earning an extra $40 a day is such a huge waste of their time. But earning an extra $400 a day may let them hang in a little longer. So what amount of extra dollars do YOU want to get from your steemit blog?

Let us examine the most popular method first; you use your steem or steem backed dollars to power up. Then what? when you upvote your post some over zealous dolphin or whale who do not have something better to do may just start complaining that you are upvoting your own stuff. it may be so serious that they may even begin to flag you for it. (ask @davidding)
So what do you do when you power up?
- Start waiting for bigger curation REWARDS?
- Upvote all your post and comments even at the risk of being flagged repeatedly and loosing all your reputation?
- Delegate to upvote bots that will give you pratically nothing because you have not dedicated enough?
- How long will it take for you to recover your investments? (if steem is a crytocurrency then investing in steem should be able to give us a good RETURN ON INVESTMENT.)
Will powering up give YOU a good ROI?
Will powering up increase you reputation and make your post more visible?
Will powering up put your post on the trending page?
hence giving your post more visibility and greater chances to receive upvotes and followers?
I don't think so.
Please correct me in the comments below, if I misunderstand any concepts, and forgive my mistakes for I am also in the learning process, since I am not yet three months on steem.
In my estimation, powering up is not the "STEEM KEY"
Say 2 account earned 100 SBD each last week from some contest they participated in.
The first account say "account A", powers up immediately and get 100 steem power (SP) for by some stroke of luck that day 1SBD was equal to 1SP.
What do you think will be his voting value?
Go back and answer the questions on powering up.
But now, "Account B" divids the 100 SBD by 7 giving him 14 SBD for promotional services each day.
On day 1; account B writes an amazing post on flowers, very informative, very helpful to lovers of flowers and gardeners.
Then use upvote bots using part of the 14 SBD at its disposal.
As well as resteem services giving it the chance to be on the trending page and maybe on the hot page too in its selected tags.
This account gains followers and make make some extra cash on the post.
The next day 2 It writes an amazing post on bees and honey cultivation.
uses all the 14 SBD to hire upvote and Resteem services. Hits the trending page and the hot page too.
gets more followers because the posts are good and helpful.
All the time its reputation is increasing everyday.
All the time its following is increasing everyday.
All the time EACH POST IS generating STEEM
STEEM BACKED DOLLAR
AND STEEM POWER TOO.
To be cashed out on the 7th day.
So Account B continues like this for seven days completely exhausting the 100 SBD.
It is now that the magic is revealed.
The investment on day 1 will now be paid on day 8 and can be used to promote the post of day 8.
And so on and so forth.
In one month to three months ACCOUNT B will be by FAR more advanced than ACCOUNT A, in every aspect.
So this strategy is the steem key to success not powering up directly.
So dear @milanm the minimum you can invest will depend on your earning desires. Also you will have to master the use of steembottracker.com in other to maximize ROI each day. But even a 10% ROI will still take you a long way.
Note that you can have even a 100% return on investment if you do your research right. THERE ARE BOTS THAT PAY GUARANTEED 80% ROI and 95% ROI etc
