Gold mining martial arts history and adventure.
I happen to have a lot on my plate right now and looking to see what's all going on has been quite a long arduous task.
So I might as well start thinking about it and might as well starring the work with the dredge tomorrow and towing it down to the local River and starting it up.
Yep we're not actually going to dredge anything we're just testing the water pump and making sure everything works properly.
But a trip to Alaska and gold mining is possibly in my future. And it is actually looking like a pretty good possibility.
well I'm going to be at the foot of a glacier working on fresh ground that has been uncovered recently and it's going to take 60 days to cut a road into our area. And then it is planned on only being a four-wheeler trail.
so I'm not exactly sure how many miles this new road is going to be however I definitely know how to build and maintain off-grid road and trail systems.
After I can get the road initially blazed through I can put a whip rod on both sides of the four wheelers and use that to help beat the brush back and enlarge the trail until I can get an actual four-wheel drive vehicle down this road.
so we're definitely talking about quite a bit of initial work just to get the equipment in which is going to require lots of chainsaw work for small trees and then I'm going to have to compile that brush together
I am absolutely going to need these brush piles for matting out potholes so that access through can be taken care of. Putting together these roads are going to be aided number one with my initial plan of operations for the road being isolate the location of the claim as well as the road in and then putting in a marker for where the road would start. All of this is on Google maps digitally..
Then also having my drone for direct surveillance in my local area as well as mapping out and getting to see what I'm going to be working with. Especially if I could save some time cutting brush by cutting through open Meadows and using the terrain.
If I can get a chipper that would be really cool then I could chip and throw down a bed of shavings to start soaking up the mud holes and to give me a good surface in certain areas that normally you'd start to stick and have issues with. Getting stuck definitely sucks and is pain. However having a bunch of brush to stack and layer that get stuck into all that mud and with more layers being applied you can actually build a causeway.
After a little while that mud will solidify and give me an excellent base.
Main idea is to blaze the trail through that will allow four wheelers to get through I am hoping that we will have sled or wheeled cart actions we will see what we can do about logistics work on shipping through this trail or trail system.
The landscape is definitely quite the unknown. Well I'll be talking more tomorrow and hopefully establishing GPS coordinates so that I can start looking into what it will take.
Then on top of it we are also looking at after the road is built then we are finally on mclean and pretty much on bedrock. There will be no overburden so we are looking at specialized tools for not only the dredge nozzles but also for accessing pockets. Which will take again custom built specialized tools...
More information
well I got done cleaning talking to the claim owner and apparently it is only going to be like a mile and a half for a road to go through but when we figure out exactly where that will be at then we are talking about getting a bulldozer and just punching the road right on through.
Apparently this has been worked before in the past and is one of those open deposits that hasn't been fully exploited yet.
