ChatGPT & Google's AI Suite Just Got a Major Upgrade!
AI outputs are making a crucial shift from thinking to doing. Recent releases from OpenAI and Google are moving us beyond conversational AI into the era of the proactive AI agent. This is more than an update; it's a new class of tools that can actually upgrade anyone's capabilities. True creative potential unlocked.
Its not that these tools are so groundbreaking when it comes to capabilities. Its the level of simplicity that can go into a prompt to produce a complex result/output.

Here’s the quick spill on these 2 new tools if you haven't checked them out.
OpenAI's ChatGPT Agent: first "out-the-box" true agent (paid)
What it is: An AI that can execute complex, multi-step tasks online, from research to creating finished documents like presentations. The breakthrough here is there aren't external prerequisites to deal with like APIs, MCPs, XYZs, blah blah blah...
How to use it: Delegate tedious work. Ask it to perform competitor analysis and deliver a summary slide deck, freeing you up for strategy. I sent it off to generate some leads for me and was pretty impressed. Worked for 43 minutes and actually completely a pretty tedious, time-consuming, yet valuable tasks...
Google Opal: Your In-House App Builder (free)
What it is: A no-code tool that lets you build and share your own "AI mini-apps" using simple natural language.
How to use it: Automate a custom workflow. Build a simple app that turns customer testimonials into three distinct social media posts. I see this more as a tool to build quick internal apps, especially if you're already in Google's workspace ecosystem (Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc). The key is to think "mini-apps". Don't try to build a full public facing app here.
Google's Gemini 2.5 Deep Think: Your...Intellectual Daddy (paid)
What it is: A model with powerful reasoning designed to solve complex problems, from advanced math to business strategy. It uses "parallel thinking" to explore multiple solutions at once.
How to use it: As of now, unless you have Google's $200 plan, you can't. But when its available on the lower tiers use it to tackle your "toughest challenges", whatever that is. Supposedly its great at analyzing complex data for non-obvious patterns (connecting the dots) or to brainstorm solutions for high-complexity problems. Since its superior at gathering data across space (this is a focal point for determining how "conscious" an LM is), I plan on using to create a "master business framework" by combining and distilling the top proven frameworks into one. My prior attempts with current models were pretty mid.
The opportunity is clear. We're moving from asking AI "What should I do?" to telling it "Go do this." Our ability to integrate will define our competitive edge. If you still don't know how to effectively communicate with AI you are falling further and further behind...
