Introduction
First of all we can all agree what Artificial Intelligence is and what kind of danger it is presenting aswell the great outcomes it can give us for improving our life. From book such as Superintelligence: Paths, Dangers, Strategies by Nick Bostrom we can see how AI can be better than human brain in any discipline. Projects like Deep Mind and Alpha Go from Google, Dota 2 bot and Dota 2 Team AI from Open AI(Non-Profit Company funded by Elon Musk) prove us what Artifical Intelligence is capable of delivering today. At the same time it is as scary as fascinating.
Neuralink
Neuralink is an American neurotechnology company founded by Elon Musk and eight others, reported be developing implantable brain-computer interfaces(BCIs). In April 2017 Musk reported that t he company aims to make devices to treat serious brain deseases in the short-term, with the eventual goal of human enhancement. In June 2016, Musk discussed a science fiction conect called "neural lace".
On 7 September 2018 on the Joe Rogan Expirience Podcast, Musk announced that the first product will be revealed within the next few months. As he mentions "Not all AI futures are bad, but most of them are pretty darn dangerous" he says one of the safest alternatives to AI future is biologicaly merging with AI trough a brain interface. Right now humans are already kind of ''cyborgs'', our smart phones are extenentions of our brains but the only problems is low input and low output of informations trough your fingers. To a present problems such as ''dumb algorithams'' that are not advanced yet enough to present us great information from the Internet but false information that creates bubbles on social media and keeps certain individuals uninformed on certain topics around the bubble that algoritham is feeding them. By connecting our brains to an AI computer we are able to extend our neocortex and make higher hierarchical information processing abilities. Such as better memory, logic and information gathering from Web.
One thing that shocked me was when Joe Rogan asked Elon are there any news on the subject of neural lace. Elon said that in a month or two he is going to present something that nobody thought was possible in current era. The way he said was way too chill and nothing like we see from companies such as google who make a big hype around small things. I am certainly excited for the upcoming news from Neuralink.

As far im concerned this reminds me of the beggining of the new era, something we see in Bladerunner or Altered Carbon. Kinda dystopian sounding. from my other side as much as it excites me it aswell worries me? What if Elon is wrong? He might me motivating goverments to regulate AI production as it worries him aswell. Neuralace kinda sounds hypocritical from him.
What can we expect in a month or so? For me, One thing that would strike me is seeing brain to computer mind reading and outputting to a text file.
