Welcome to the new Series on A.I Part I of an unknown amount. The concept behind this series is to open everyone's eyes to the changing/evolving world that we are living in today. The times are completely different than when we were children, in so many aspects.
The technology today was only thought of 40 years ago, fathomed another 20 years ago. while some would argue the capabilities existed in the early 1990's and others will argue that it existed since the 1850's although that computer was never actually built until the 1990's the capability existed.
The robotic technology that existed around 30 to 40 years ago was very minimal or at least not publicized as it is in todays times other than the infamous Johnny Five that inspired a lot of young dreamers to aspire into the life of robotics.
Those boundaries are being pushed beyond the normal everyday aspects of having an robotic arm at the end of an assembly line to help packaging departments increase productivity. Those robotic arms are now the entire packaging departments.

That last statement alone is enough to keep any mind pondering what all A.I could change in the not so distant future alone. Will the changes be subtle as to not let anyone notice the incoming changes? What will lower class people do? What will those with lower intelligence levels than others do?
These are the questions that we will be forced to answer more so in the future than we are now. What would it look like if we started asking these questions now or is it being done? The United States seems to be asking these questions and answering them with STEM Education beginning early in public school systems.
The past curriculum was based on needing only a certain amount of workers for certain areas in the World. The past generations were okay with "Back Breaking Work" that also comes with the unspoken price of an earlier than expected death, either due to stress or a work related disease.
When you start to think of all the areas in which physical labor actually does more harm than good. Than it is a no brainer to usher in the ages of True General Artificial Intelligence on the masses.
The people will benefit from their own demise, without noticing at first. The reality is that corporations and governments alike will use the whole "Autonomous machines will lower manufacturers cost and save you, the end-user thousands if not more yearly"
Sounds great, does it not? Almost anyone enjoys saving some money here and there, right?
What is Artificial Intelligence?
Simply put: artificial intelligence is manmade intelligence. The most common form of artificial intelligence would be Neural Networks, Recurrent Neural Networks and so on.
The ideal behind these neural networks is to mimic the human brain. Anyone that has a bit of knowledge about the human brain knows that the word "Neural" describes the brains nerves.
Essentially these nerves are what allows the brain to handle and decipher all incoming and out going signals. Neural activity in the brain is a means of measuring brain activity.
Neurons (also called neurones or nerve cells) are the fundamental units of the brain and nervous system, the cells responsible for receiving sensory input from the external world, for sending motor commands to our muscles, and for transforming and relaying the electrical signals at every step in between. More than that, their interactions define who we are as people. Having said that, our roughly 100 billion neurons do interact closely with other cell types, broadly classified as glia (these may actually outnumber neurons, although it’s not really known).
The creation of new neurons in the brain is called neurogenesis, and this can happen even in adults.

What is the difference between A.I. & True General A.I?
When we think about Artificial intelligence what comes to mind? Things like Alexa, Siri, Google and my own personal project Bob Bob remains a form of A.I simply because Bob can't learn in an uncontrolled way. Bob is programmed in a pre response type of way.
Certain aspects of his code are user defined but Bob does not truly learn things yet. That is where General A.I. is different. When you think about General A.I. you should think about raising children and animals.
essentially children have all these sensors like touch, smell, sig ht, feeling and hearing. A child takes in unlimited amounts of data and learns from that data becoming his/her own person. That is the goal of general A.I.
The coding will act as the DNA of a person, able to control certain features like male/female, voice, language preferences and can even allow for the ability to design an avatar for the General A.I.
Where are we currently?
Their hasn't been any companies as of to date claim that they have developed a true general Artificial Intelligence that is indifferent from that of human intelligence except it's intelligence level surpasses that of humans.
We have some pretty decent starting points. Alexa from Amazon was a decent start to the ideology. Although Alexa was not the starting point to A.I and a lot of people would argue the true starting point in A.I history. I won't get myself into that debate.
While the A.I. Technology that has been developed by the world's smartest minds such as Elon Musk, Bill Gates and others has empowered us to move closer towards autonomous vehicles and more.
Elon Musk with the announcement of the Tesla Bot that is supposed to mimic the intelligence of humans. That implication alone is pretty impressive. Given that Tesla alone has designed certain chips that are alleged to be 1000x better than a simple Tensor unit we can't doubt that surreal possibility.
Although as of know our current technology has evolved to:

- facial recognition
- voice recognition
- autonomous driving
- line following
- voice command
