First day at air-clinic and what I learnt

I'm sure some of you must have seen the # AIR-CLINIC project which was established by the popular #hug-challenge master, @nairadaddy or Dr George the blockchain blogger. If not you can read about air-clinic here

So I join their discord channel via https://discord.gg/rqded5m and waited for 10 minutes before I can send a message to the group but it was worth the wait. While waiting I showed myself around the air-clinic channel and I'm amazed with what they are doing. This is not a review of AIR-CLINIC, so I won't be telling you the various sections they have, you can check it out by clicking here

this is what I learnt

You may not know how sensitive your teeth can be until you need it tomorrow to eat all the Christmas food prepared at your house.

Your tooth become sensitive when the enamel layer is worn off and the dentine is exposed. The image above should give you a clue. The dentine then becomes hyper active and that is what gives the shocking sensation.

Wrong brushing techniques can cause it and also using the wrong type of brush too. Also, you don't have to wait for your toothbrush to be like shoe brush before you change it. The recommended time is 3months.

You will feel this sensation when you take cold, hot, sweet or sugary content and also when you breathe with your mouth open.

Reducing the acidic and surgery drinks will help you. Also, Dr. Blessing said the best time to wash your teeth after taking such I not immediately but 15 - 20 minutes.

Getting a bonding agent to coat the crown of the teeth can be helpful. Consult your dentist of you want to do that. Also, you can use senodyne for about one month to see if there will be a difference. If it persist after a month you should consult a dentist. Apply the sensodyne over your teeth 2 minutes before brushing it.
