Introduction
Since I started my journey in the crypto world, I saw this space transformed at the speed of light. It is like watching a good western movie where you are the main character and it is exciting.
I started to notice some trends about where I believe this space might go. I am not Nostradamus, but I have the experience and gut feeling by participating in this space every day!
ICOs
Lately, I took a little break from ICOs because I saw so many projects become dead or being a scam. Every blockchain startup wants to revolutionize the world and make a quick buck. What I am sick and tired of is they never show a product from day one!
We need to modify the rules and allow an ICO to start only if it has a workable product or at least a working MVP. Even if you want to bypass traditional channels, you need to follow the rules, like the DAICO model suggested by Vitalik Buterin.
Sadly, 90% of those utility coins will become obsolete and worthless, this is a true reality!
Shitcoins
Always think outside of the box. Why do you want to create a coin in the first place? It is easy to start implementing a smart contract and create a token on the Ethereum or Wave platform. Unfortunately, it does not make sense for many of them.
The worst is that they have low liquidity; almost no trading volume, and supported on obscure trading exchanges! In the end, avoid them at any cost and run to the other side of the planet.
Cryptocurrency
Everyone wants to compete with Bitcoin and make it faster and better. All the hard fork from Bitcoin are pure crap and garbage. Even the controversial BCH that I will never use because it is too centralized and managed by untrusting people.
What I predict, in the niche of transfer of value, only two cryptocurrencies will dominate the entire crypto market. The ones that I believe will survive are Bitcoin and Litcoin!
Airdrop
I avoid them at any cost because most of those airdrops are pure scam and waste of time and have a low reward in the end. Some website lists them and the reward is so low for the time needed to complete them.
I tried only two and never received the tokens, it is frustrating! Why lose your time for airdrops that most of the time pay less than 10$.
Dapps platforms
This is where the action will happen in the crypto world and money will flow in. I believe the two dominant platforms that will dominate the entire market are EOS and Ethereum. Moreover, a tremendous wealth will be built on those dapps platforms.
We are going to see a great game like Cryptokitties be played planetarily. Innovative solutions where you can spend your crypto everywhere on the planet easily.
Last thought
The crypto space is changing so fast that it is almost impossible to follow everything that happens. My suggestion is to keep your focus where they are strong communities, this is the only way a project will survive.
What drive this space is mostly the hype, but this is only for a short period of time. The real success is a working product people use and a great community behind it!
