How to
- register on the https://carmel.io website
- right after registration scroll down and find the tokens claim section where you enter your ETH address (no private keys please) with at least 1 EOS balance in it (basically the one you have registered for EOS mainnet launch and the token swap)
- only today you can get 100 tokens. The amount will then drop by 5 tokens every day. If interested, register now. It took me one minute.
Attention
- at the time of writing the account verification process was disabled. They are actively informing on Telegram though.
- however, your token claim will be still valid! It's just the account verification (Twitter, Telegram) that you'll need to do later. Best to watch their Telegram for updates or create a reminder for later.
What is Carmel anyway
- just another learning platform (DEVs oriented) that could easily exist without a blockchain or a coin. They say it's running on blockchain + AWS for better performance.
- looks more like amateurs trying their best. The first courses seem to be created on the fly by the stuff itself as they try to make the whole thing work ... it's sweet but most probably not a place to go for programming skills, at least not right now ...
