Steemians, let me take you on a short ride about my encounter with Cryptogene and how it has helped and intends to do more for the crypto-world.
It's almost a year since I got into a messy ponzi investment on digitalportal, where I got scammed of my hard earned Nigerian naira. Little did I know that my final bus stop in ponzi investments would become a meeting point between the Cryptogene founder Bashir, some esteemed members of Cryptogene, my very good friend and business associate @cybercreeper and my very humble self @unlimited921. We were all victims of the ponzi investment mishap.
The ponzi digital portal site was a schemy platform. They had a blog integrated into the platform where members meet and converse and also get relevant information as well. The founder of Cryptogene took advantage of the blog and been an enlightened mind on bitcoin investments and trades was able to detect and pin point the fraudulent nature of the site. He made out time to be online as much as possible to discourage intending investors from further investing into the scheme (digital portal) after realizing that they (digital portal) operated on a central account system and not a decentralized pair to pair system as it was believed to have been.
After the realisation of been scammed by the site, many people left feeling disappointed while others stayed back hoping to get paid someday. During the period of waiting in vain, Bashir who was seen as a mentor and a reliable crypto-currency trader alongside other great minds were always dropping trading tips and analyzed trades for traders and prospective trader like myself.
They later on created a telegram group coined Cryptogene to aid crypto-currency trades and gave out links through the failed ponzi blog for interested minds. I opted in with my friend @cybercreeper and other individuals with little or no positive expectations from the newly founded Cryptogene telegram group.
Since forgotten about the ponzi investments and started trading following guides from the newly founded Cryptogene telegram group, things got better and most serious minded members recovered from losses incurred on ponzi investments by trading cryptos.
As time went on, Cryptogene telegram group became a big hub of great minds that saw a greener future for members of the group. Different ideas popped out giving birth to Cryptogene chat, digest, trading and exchange(havene). All these led to an evolution in Cryptogene.
Back to present, the evolution has brought about a project tagged "Cryptogene Project" targeted at providing blockchain solutions for African countries thereby bringing blockchain technology mainstream on the continent. It is a decentralized community that will create platforms for individuals and businesses to impact positively by developing solutions based on blockchain technology.
Cryptogene has created a native currency "Cryptogene token" CGT, which is at its ICO stage and on wave platform. All Cryptogene projects would be integrated with CGT to enable cross-border transactions between African countries.
Cryptogene is aimed at becoming the first blockchain tech hub to enable users interact, share ideas and have a platform to develop personal ideas and concepts or on preexisting ones for easy adoption into daily living.
