Sept 1 is moose hunting for Southwest Alaska Eskimos; I flew in from Anchorage, AK to Marshall.
The village of Marshall, AK is a small Eskimo town of around 450 people:
The Yukon River is three miles wide in front of Marshall, AK and the landmark is Pilcher Mountain, which is pictured on the way to our hunting grounds.
We shot our moose: 
We field dress and butcher our catch: my nephew, brother and hunting partner work together
