As I sit here at about 9:42 PM and I look at the bear markets.
I think about the last few days. I have felt mentally beat down. Day job, personal life, etc. Online is a positive by the way.
So last night there was 'nothing on TV ' so the wife found a movie from 2001.
"Nelson Moss (Keanu Reeves) and Sara Deever (Charlize Theron) have nothing in common except an hour spent in DMV hell. Intrigued by each other, but not quite ready to commit, they settle on a rather unconventional courtship: a one-month trial, after which they'll go their separate ways. No expectations. No pressure. No strings attached. What neither of them counts on is falling in love"
Source is a Google search.
Spoiler ⚠️
It was for the most part a really strange movie. But it really hit home for me.
The female lead was dying of cancer. And to give herself joy and purpose she decided to help, fix, people.
You have to watch the ending.
It put things into perspective, a slap in my face.
When you live with the love of your life and they have been battling cancer for 8 years now you start to take it for granted. You forget they are terminal.
I try and stay strong, I have to. But sometimes life goes on as life does and you piss off your spouse. You get you back up. You forget most of their frustration is because they know they are dying.
Eight years waiting to die. That puts things into perspective. Could she live another eight, or more. We have no idea.
Then I wonder about bear markets, crypto crashes. 🤔
What am I worried about? Markets always recover. They always grow, getting bigger than before the crash.
Mr. Positivity has enough to worry about.
I will repeat this many times as the bear market continues. It is the best time to build and invest.
As @taskmaster4450 said in his latest post. Bear Markets Are Where Incredible Wealth Is Made.
To sum up. When you think online, bear markets are the end of the world look for some perspective or if you are as lucky as I am it will slap you in the face.
