Today marks the beginning of Season 10 at OG Foundation!
And also the end of the 26 week winter/R&R 'off-season'.
The next 26 weeks will see many build projects and other developments/growth in Allodium.
9 years ago, at the beginning of Season 1, the hill which OG Foundation was established upon was vacant- aside from some skunks and other local wildlife.
Now, at the beginning of Season 10, the culmination of the preceding seasons has resulted in a fledgling castle allodium, which can sustain a family unit as well as a separate rental unit for an additional individual or couple.
In Season 10, expected projects include buttressing the existing foundation and expanding the existing infrastructure so that the life-sustaining capacity of OG Foundation increases over time.
The chicken flock is growing, and it seems that progress is being made insofar as community ties forming!
Though, it often seems this way this time of year, yet often there are unforeseen obstacles/events/predators that may derail that growth trajectory...
But all the groundwork has been done for a successful season:
Materials for projects have been secured, there are a number of projects planned over the next 26 weeks, and the Gatetower rental unit is occupied, ensuring stable finances.
In Block #290, ending 5/1/2023, a total of 2388@ (Appreciation Tokens) were generated; 378@ were generated by the daily appreciation of 54 members, 110@ were generated by 11 hour of labor exhausted benefitting the Cooperative, and 1900@ were generated by 190 OG Creds (Ø); bringing the total to 514,584@.
There are currently 54 members of Allodium, 12 of whom have Affirmed their Sovereignty, and 7 of those whom have at least 1 OG Cred. The updated Member Tree can be viewed here:
