Two weeks before the start of Anarchapulco 2018, Founder @JeffBerwick AKA The @DollarVigilante was contacted by the booking and management agency of the Iconic 90's Rap Group Wu-Tang Clan for a surprise performance! As if being the world's premiere Anarchist and Voluntaryist Conference wasn't awesome enough, Anarchapulco topped it all off by having a top-notch Nightlife experience as well! The spontaneous @wutangclan concert appealed to everyone at the conference, and on the First Night of Anarchapulco 2018, people piled by the hundreds into busses provided by @JeffBerwick that took people from the Hotel to the Venue in Acapulco!
The Night was incredible! Truly one for the ages. The concert's line-up was diverse as well. Opening for Wu-Tang were all sorts of artists, ranging from Rappers to Metal Bands, like @ericdjuly's Anarchist group @Backwordz!
They open up TSOA's latest video with their slasher of a tune aptly titled "Statism" and it was awesome to watch a crowd of people from different cultures all over the world mosh like absolute MANIACS for the entire set! It really was an interconnected and empowering moment!
Someone from the Anarchapulco team captured TSOA's Carmen Carangi radiantly expressing the room's powerful energy while crowd-surfing and turned it into this Epic Promo Picture for Next Year's Conference!
Carmen (@chickencaam) was in rare form that night as he hopped on the drum set during Wu-Tang's Finale and started re-living his Touring Musician days playing along! (Big ups to Anarchapulco Host and Organizer Avi Esther for catching it on film!)
And as if all that wasn't crazy enough, Anarchapulco's Founder @JeffBerwick made a surprise appearance on stage to perform his Crypto-inspired Rap "All the Way Up"
Needless to say, Anarchapulco is more than just a conference. It's a Gathering of Souls, a resounding Spiritual Celebration of Life and it's uncanny ability to Triumph in the face of any Darkness.
