Tarsier:
You may think for a hot second that this thing can not be real, but it is.....Tarsiers are the smallest nocturnal primate found in Malaysia, Indonesia and the southern Philippines. It is slightly larger than a hamster and they will live from 2-12 years.
Appearance:
Their hind legs are the largest part of their body although their eyes are obviously the most noticeable. Most of their toes have nails but a couple have claws for grooming. Getting back to the Tarsier's eyes....these wild enormous eyeballs are the same size as their brain. They also have to turn their heads to see, as the eyes do not rotate because they are so bulbous. In my opinion, I think their ears are just as interesting as the eyes, because they swivel and move around with such dexterity that it reminds me of a bat. Their hearing is the most important sense to the Tarsier because of the powerful auditory cortex that they posses. Also, they are super cuddly because their fur is lush and velvety to the touch.

Behavior/Habits:
Tarsiers are completely carnivorous and mainly eat insects, but are also know to prey on birds, snakes, lizards, and bats. These little guys...let me tell you are so insane to see in action and they are doing it all at night. They are very small but have such powerful legs that they literally float and fly through the air like nothing I've seen before. Again, I just can't believe Tarsiers are 'real-life' primates.
