Sometimes I wonder why we are such ruthless in killing our fellow creatures. I mean killing includes both direct and indirect way. We all evolved from the same single cell, everyone landed on this earth to live but fortunately, we are gifted with an intelligent brain.Since we have an additional feature we started exploiting our brothers and sisters.
Let's take an example,
we all hoped into Steemit to make a fortune or to improve our skills. Imagine that you're flagged by a community of whales ruthlessly for every new post.As a result, we would soon quit blogging or protest against whales. Similar is the case with animals since they can't protest against us they are getting endangered from the earth.
Recently the last male white African Rhino marks the certain extinction of this incredible species. Its name is Sudan. My deepest condolences to him. It deserved so much better from us but...........
I ain't asking anyone to become immerse themselves completely in saving animals, but don't remain in darkness at least light a single candle.
Here is one of the scintillating idea that my eye witnessed while studying newspaper. It was 'Floating Laboratories' initiated by Indian women researchers in Loktak lake.
-Miss Supriya and her colleagues first measure water at a particular area in a river by traveling in a boat. They examine the basic quality of water then and there itself i.e, Chemical Oxygen Demand, Biochemical Oxygen Demand, chloride test and nitrogen levels. They then take water to their laboratories and do the complete analysis.
-They are planning to run boats throughout the Brahmaputra lake(3500 KM) to test most of the parts. Results have shown that many aquatic animals are dying because of the condition of the water.
Due to the dumping of domestic and industrial wastes pH value of water is changing. Change is affecting those marine organisms. They are planning to find appropriate remedies to save the organisms.
Let's spare some time for our fellow beings and make the world more beautiful :)
