| this is my entry for #AnimalSunday by @homeartpictures. The last days where a bit quiet for me at Steemit. The New Years Eve ended just now ;) Lots of celebrations, but now I want to share with you some images of birds of prey, recorded last summer here in Mongolia. To watch these birds is always a fantastic event. The Golden Eagle (Aquila Chrysaetos) is a traditional hunting bird for fox and wolf and some small animals. For me he is one of the most beautiful animals I saw. | das ist mein Beitrag zum heutigen #AnimalSunday von @homeartpictures. Die letzten Tage waren für mich etwas ruhig auf Steemit. Sylvester hat sich dann doch etwas in die Länge gezogen. Das war alles andere als ruhig ;) Dafür gibt es heut eine kleine Auswahl von Raubvögeln, welche ich im letzten Sommer vor der Linse hatte. Vor diesen majestätischen Tieren zu stehe, ist immer wieder etwas besonderes. Der Steinadler, oder Golden Eagle (Aquila Chrysaetos) ist ein traditioneller Jagdvogel für Füchse, Wölfe oder auch Nager. Für mich ist es eines der schönsten Tiere, die ich bis jetzt in echt sehen durfte. |
| The Cinereous Vulture (Aegypius Monachus) is so huge, if you stand in front of him. You can see them everywhere here. Just couple miles out of the city and you can say hello to these guys. | Der Mönchsgeier (Aegypius Monachus) ist riesig, wenn man vor ihm steht. Der ist hier überall zu sehen. Man braucht nur etwas aus der Stadt raus zu fahren um sich mit denen anzufreunden. |
| I guess this one is a Grey Eagle (Haliaeetus Albicilla) but I'm not 100% sure. @chrissysworld knows a lot about these birds, and she told me in an older post, that it could be a young Grey Eagle. The older ones got a yellow beak. I didn't find any safe information. So if anybody knows something, please let me or us know. | Bei dem Exemplar vermute ich, das es sich um einen jungen Seeadler handelt. Zumindest hab ich diesen Tip von @chrissysworld, die sich hervorragend mit Raubvögeln versteht. Die älteren Tiere haben später einen gelben Schnabel. Mehr konnte ich an sicheren Informationen nicht bekommen. Wenn Du etwas genaueres weisst, sag bitte Bescheid. |
