1)Fate Stay Night/Unlimited Blade Works

This is one of those action packed/great animation/great story anime I've ever seen. It actually came from a visual novel(a game) where there are three routes(yes three possible story progression), first is fate staynight, second is unlimited bladeworks(full of awesomeness) and the third is heavens feel(I've been waiting for almost a decade to be animated >.<).
The story revolves on Holy Grail War, Where the pseudo Holy Grail(or what they believe is true) is summoned and what the mages are fighting for as it grants one wish. To be able to participate a magi must summon one of the class namely Saber, Archer, Lancer (the three knights Saber being the most favored), Assassin, Caster, Berserker, Rider. Summoned beings are actually a hero from any timeline and being summoned on a class gives them unique ability.
2)Fate Zero
Well this is the prequel basically they're fighting for the same Grail. But with different characters and summons.
3)Full Metal Alchemist(not Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood)
It is in a parallel world where alchemy is more popular than other branch of science (physics to be exact). Here, anyone can do a magic like alchemy(someone with knowledge ofcourse) but with a catch: Equivalent Trade, anything received should be equal to what is offered(basically a barter).
Edward and Alphonse Elric are brothers who tried to revive their mother(and ofcourse failed as it is a taboo) and results to losing their body(al's whole body, ed's limb because of the law: Equivalent Trade) Ed being desperate infused al's soul to an armor resulting for losing another limb. Several years later, they joined the military where alchemist are given high value. They search for the legendary Philosophers stone to recover their body but to just find alchemy's darkest secrets.
