I bought an antminer a3 from a 13 year old kid , we met in a parking lot at 8:30 pm in a B of A in the dark...scary yes .. because I’ve never carried this much cash to meet a stranger... felt a little sketch and a little dirty but it was nothing how I expected! I took my family with me and to our surprise he did too.. weird ? Yep ! but strangely enough it made me comfortable and it was the real deal ! It was smooth and both of us went home happy my $5200 burning a hole in the 13 year olds pocket ... lol... I told him he was a genius and he was going to go far in life and I was proud of him and to keep up the good work and we asked him how he did it.. he wasn’t trying to buy a antminer he just happened to be at the right place at the right time . He said it was late at night he went onto his computer saw a message that it was going to be realeased in about 10 minutes so he waited and got it .. he said it was just weird ... he had been mining with gpu’s for awhile ,he had the crypto currency so he he went for it in hopes to make some money ( probably for college or something) I asked if he was going to reinvest it ?? Buy some bitcoin or something.. he smiled and shrugged his shoulders... time to celebrate we thought but oh ... celebration?? I don’t think so..... not quite ... a long debate later about what we needed ...some screaming and yelling and freaking out ...I had no idea this would turn me into a crazy person I kept saying evey second we are not mining we are losing money !! I said the profitability is diminishing as I speak !!! No ones helping me I screamed.. my family looking at me like “who are you???” we soon found out we needed a lot more than a antminer to mine... hahaha !to make 24 hour fiasco short ... we are finally were up and running at 800-946 hashrate currently as I write...not what I had anticipated but more than I could imagine but I really thought it wouldn’t happen at all I’m still astounded and I didn’t know anything about antmining 72 hours ago so... it’s kind of a Cinderella fairy tale ...I just hope mine ends like one
