... huge amounts of rubbish onto the shoreline with each wave. It was absolutely heartbreaking to see!
There was just so much plastic and Styrofoam. In hindsight, our organization is grateful that the ocean had large waves that morning enabling us to help capture it all. It was terrifying to see but looking at the glass half full - thank goodness we were there to capture it all before it went back into the ecosystem.
