Hyper-rail Blaster is an upcoming and one of the anticipated games to be developed under Arcade Colony platform. My goal is for everyone to know the token allocation and the possible game rewards we might be able to make.
Right, Hyper-rail Blaster Game is requesting 15M Colony tokens per year to fund the tokenomics of the game. This is deducted to the Arcade Colony DAO, since shareholders voted for this one to pass. This 15M tokens will be broken down into pieces.
The Breakdown of the 15M COL / year
- 6M Colony Tokens - for Game rewards
Each month basically, 500K Colony will be added to the pool. These will be given out to the players of the game, earning COLONY per race. These will be depleted until the 500k rewards is out of balance, then new 500K will be added on each succeeding months.
- 6M Colony Tokens - for Leaderboard rewards
Now different from MoonKarts, leaderboard rewards reset every 5 days only and will be distributed to the top 25 top scorers. Looking at the numbers, it most most likely 82,000 COLONY tokens will be distributed among top 25 players (or Top 100) if we got a lot more players playing.
This is quite good, to be honest as there is no cost in playing this. I'm not sure, if they will introduce packs for this but let's see.
- 3M Colony TOkens - for Jackpot
This is how they explained the Jackpot prizes.
First 30 days, the highest score in the game will be recorded as all time high score. Then every 30 days, the account beating the all time high score & staying there till end of period will get 50% of the Jackpot reward pool. If no-one is able to defeat the previous high score, jackpot reward will keep accumulating till the score is beaten and winner will get the 50% of the jackpot pool at that time. Further details will be revealed when this is launched.
This will keep continue until we reach the 5th year of the game. After 5 years have passed, the stakeholders (holders of COL) will then be able to
