Made it all the way to five thirty this morning and only an hour short. I suppose that doesn’t count as catching up, but at least I fell asleep later than I have been.
Did the usual morning routine and found HIVE just happily continuing on its inexorable descent in value against BTC. 😭. Why? Why is my investment evaporating? Seems like the sell pressure should end sometime, no?
In the off chance that the fees might come down, I reset and left the KOIN miner running. Just been heating my office burning electricity for more than a week. 🤬
Just going to kill it and be “happy” with the 149 I got. Likely to be a loss, I believe, but a risk is a risk. Now I have to try and recover the eth locked in there, if possible...fun times!
Chatted for a while over on Discord and then played some Resident Evil 3 on the Xbox. I made some progress and got the antidote that I needed to heal the other character. It’s a “defend the door” sort of situation with zombies pouring in the windows on all sides and fricking bigass OP douchenozzles, so after dying a couple of times I decided to give it a rest.
Been thinking and thinking and not doing or doing, so today I fired up the computer and got to work. I had three or four things I still needed to do before trying to run the app, including building all the tables in the database I created the other day.
Got the tables created and modified and manually entered a couple users to populate the database with something. I also set up super-admin, admin, and mod tables and got some data in there too.
After that hurdle was overcome, it was time to try and actually run it on my machine. I was expecting errors immediately, and guess what? My expectations were fulfilled! 😝
Got that straightened out, got logged in through HiveSigner, and then made my first custom op through the front end! It’s still throwing all kinds of back-end errors, but basic functionality achieved. Weewahwoowah, much success!!! 🤓😁
Those were the major barriers to start. Got them all finished and now I can do some more proper tinkering. Already done a few things, basically just changing operation names and app names...cosmetic stuff, but makes it into the new version anyway.
Started to get closer to getting ready for bed time, but I had more than three fricking thousand steps left to go for the day! 😱 This, it was time for some laps.
After I got my steps done I laid down and watched something or other on TV, I don’t even remember and it was lights out for me.
Gosh dangalangit! I did jinx it! 😡 Darn little digithieves robbed my bank. I did get a little bit of SIM, but not much relatively speaking.
No go on the Holybread tasks today. 😢 Just couldn’t pull out that third arena win. Potions are due for refill tomorrow and I should have enough to beef some stats. 💪

Gather gather CryptoBrewmaster ingredients...I do have multiples of a few cards now, but still need yeast. Hopefully it will be available tomorrow.
Only a few days left in the season again. Other than the slight twinge of butthurt for giving up after three games yesterday, I had no desire to play today. I suppose I’ll get reset back even further and be even more crippled...question is whether I really care or not.
