Anyone here watched Samurai X? haha I made a FanArt. Hoooorrrraaayy!
This is part of my portfolio shit so I'm trying to be careful with this one XD I did some RnD and pitching ideas to myself ahhah
Here are some composition drafts I made:
I love all three but I needed to just choose one, so I just chose whichever had the most people in it hahahha
Process:
- (1) Rough sketch
- (2) My vision for this piece is it has to be in night setting so I painted the main hue
- (3) Started painting the base colors
- (4) And dig deep on the details
- (5) It was my mistake to not able to fix the anatomy from the start. It was definitely messed up. So I redid it.
- (6) I fixed the enemy as well
- (7) Decided to change the feel for Kenshin, I chose to cover his eyes for more personality
- (8) Make him more tense and add the finishing touches of embers and it doooone <3
I know a lot of things had happened in this piece. So much revision but I'm loving how it turn out in the final image <3 Kudos to my art parents who's always been there to motivate and guide me!
