I had a long train journey today so I made a few automatic drawings to keep myself occupied.
I am using this technique with five layers, first a scribble in pencil that emerges into a basic form. Then successively darker grey inks to add increasing definition. These four remind me of the four classical elements of Fire, Water, Air and Earth. Kinds of elementals.
I will scan them properly when I get home.
