As it's past midnight here in London and my mind is still racing so it's an appropriate time to post "Red Eye".
Since getting into this properly about a month back I haven't really been able to sleep. It's been like going to school for the first day when the initial premise of learning about school subjects becomes the whole environment, philosophy and potential. Most of this is in the eyes of the general public is so loaded with preconceived notions that you almost immediately feel like you must become a part of getting at least some of the good things about it out there. Of course it is not all good and there are so many traps to fall into that you almost just get swamped by the amount of stuff that it requires you to learn just to get the initial hang of it.
It is not really complicated with an open mind but the hardest thing to get around is the amount of personal responsibility it requires as well as the amount of stuff it almost immediately makes you aware of that potentially weren't part of normal people's day to day discussions. What is money. How does an open source platform work. Is it a ponzi scheme and all the rest.
Do your own research and everyone has an angle.
For the sleepless part, none of the usual tricks worked thus far: meditation, drinking, exercise, sex... all out the window and I've been up at 5am so many times I've lost count. I've had my mind blown several times during the past month and hope my shut eye pattern returns to normal soon.
