What a hectic week.
I've been so all over the place lately.
Had some really happy, playing with the baby, zen moments last week. X2 happiness because I've been so pleased with my orgonites and even more pleased that a lot of them have been sold without too much effort from me.
Then got triggered multiple times via my pet peeves.
- Victim blaming assaulted women.
- Insincere apologies.
- Playing the victim card.
I'm convinced he's a narcissist.
To my credit, I really did try my best to ignore him like I usually do, but enough was enough and I clicked.
There's only so much ridiculousness I could stomach.
To say I needed to spend some time outdoors this weekend with crystals and resin to release my frustration, is a total understatement.
I was desperate to create so I could feel like my normal self again.
SATURDAY
It's no surprise that I went with turquoise on Saturday. I needed the soothing hues to calm my frayed nerves.
I decided to call these pieces...
Peace & Serenity
with Prehnite, Turquoise, Green Adventurine, Black Tourmaline, Smoky Quartz, Amethyst, Rainbow Moonstone and Clear Quartz ~ these have a very magical, protective yet gentle vibe about it.
This pyramid is the largest one I've made this year and it's Bella's. I usually show her all my pieces when I'm done and even though she seems to like all of them she never reacted to them with such excitement as she did with this one.
Technically, it's not perfect. I can see bits and pieces I'm not happy with but over all I think she still turned out alright.
The colours are great I just wish you could see the purple better.
The lotuses are pretty straightforward.
Just turquoise with no fancy layer tints but it does have an amethyst center as well as a smoky quartz.
SUNDAY
Eclipse Day!
I wasn't planning on pouring on Sunday. I was tired, sore and exhausted from the day before and toyed with the idea of having a bum around the house day while Hubby looked after the baby.
But the crystals called out when I got up and it was hard to ignore so these happened..
Grounding and Success
with Garnet, Red Agate, Black Tourmaline, Clear Quartz,Rainbow Moonstone and Marble.
These are very Root Chakra oriented and can assist in balancing and grounding oneself. It is also highly protective and can help ward off negative energies.
Creativity and Motivation
with Carnelian, Red Adventurine, Black Tourmaline, Clear Quartz, Rainbow Moonstone and Marble
These are more aimed toward the Sacral Chakra (the seat of our emotions, sexuality and creativity) even though the crystals can also be used for the Root Chakra.
It's energizing and motivating energies should help with creative blocks as well as being able to manifest desired results.
Technically, I think the pyramids could use more colour layers. Compared to the Peace and Serenity pyramid they're looking a bit dull.
I was also going for Red for the grounding one and ended up with coral; Orange for the creativity one and it looks a bit more on the yellow side..
That said I'm still pleased with how they look. Loving the bright, vibrant colours and the way the glitter adds a little bling.
Here's the group shot of all the pieces after they were sanded and polished today.
