Sometimes, I just want to paint -- and I am not the best or even half way so-so -- which means that I spend a lot of time sketching out my idea. But that still uses resources. While I was buying supplies for my last two projects, I was struck by an Eureka Moment.
Being A Creator On A Budget
When we are experiencing a budget crunch, we tend to neglect our hobbies. But the caveat is harsher...If we neglect ourselves and our spirits, then how do we get our finances back on track? The answer is they don't.
There I was standing in the middle of a large construction-type store, but they sell a smidge of all things -- When a wild thought appeared. What if I bought a decent size piece of tile and used it as my canvas. I have a camera so it is not like I would lose my work...
How much did this piece of tile cost me? Less than $2.00 USD. As long as I take care of it, I can use it hundreds and hundreds of times.

Now I am going to show the back, but it is just to remind you that the back is NOT waterproof. DO NOT immerse the tile in water to clean. Only use a damp rag, with soap, AND only on the front that is sealed.

Now You Can Be Creative As Much As You Want
As I said, I am a pretty so-so painter, but I still love painting. Now I can practice. And it won't eat into my budget.
Paint costs? Honestly, in the United States, I am blessed. There are several stores that I have coupons for -- Once a week, I can pick up one or two acrylic paints for less than $0.50 USD for each.
