I prepared quite a number of paper strips(1:16). As same as last time, I pre-folded them into several isosceles right triangles. | ![]() |

In the photos, we can see that one starry icosahedron is made from 6 strips. This requires three steps:
- Construct a star with five strips.
- Wrap it around with the 6th one.
- Finished the unit by meeting the edges together.

If we repeat the second step, we'll get a straight long origami tube.
![]() | The folding is actually very flexible. I manage to construct a torus, too! My first attempt is to make 8 units then combine them with tiny pieces of papers. Turned out to be a little crappy. |

For the second try, I made a C shape in "one piece" and I connect the ends with papers. Looks better :) | ![]() |
There were some remaining paper strips. So I thought: Why not flip the model inside out?
