Gotta start somewhere, right?
I joined Hive looking for a place to post my current artwork as well as past works that I want to remain online for posterity, but after poking around I've become especially stoked to get acquainted with the OnChainArt community and to interact with fellow creatives too. I've missed that.
I've been elsewhere with similar intentions of archiving my portfolio, but none of those efforts remain online anymore. What started with Livejournal and Myspace (to show my age), became Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and websites created with Wordpress and Blogger and who-knows-where-else... but they're all gone. For one reason or another I moved on and removed my content in the process. Leaving my life's work in the hands of a centralized, big tech platform has consistently soured on me, so I'm out... finally. Hive it is. Sure, I just got here and I was equally enthusiastic when I joined those other platforms, but now I have the keys... and that makes all the difference.
Looking forward.
