Hey dear community, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new contribution and hope you had a day that brought some interesting experiences into your life! In this article I would like to discuss alchemy and hope you will be able to learn new things.
Splendor Solis is an important alchemical script from the 16th century, which is still considered very mysterious today and contains some written and pictorial traditions about alchemy which are full of symbolism and cryptographic messages. It is considered one of the oldest alchemical writings and to this day the exact author is unknown to it and it was first believed that it was written by the German alchemist Salomon Trismosin who was considered a teacher of the well-known Swiss alchemist Paracelsus, but it is assumed that it could also be an pseudonym and Ulrich Poysse could be behind it and even if the exact origin is often discussed, it is an important foundation of alchemy. Splendor Sollis combines various aspects with each other and is based on hermetic teachings and the author has also been influenced by the mystical secret doctrine Kabbalah and there are interpretation that the author knows the secrets for the production of the Philosopher's Stone and he went into this particularly strongly in this work and also illuminates the backgrounds and contexts of various alchemistic work steps. Anyone who has already dealt with alchemy will know that some work steps were considered a metaphor for the development of the own soul and this work also revolves partly around the spiritual side of alchemy and transformation up to the awakening of the higher self as well as enlightenment and it combines much of the symbolism of the old alchemists. Many of the instructions and steps presented in this book are written in encrypted form and combine the various aspects of the secret language of the ancient alchemists and it has developed into one of the main works of alchemy and the first versions have been written in old German script and were later also translated into other languages. Splendor Solis contains some of the secrets of alchemy and combines art and mystical aspects with each other and it can be recommended for anyone who wants to deal more closely with alchemy and there are numerous reprints of this work.
