So I called my Mom to see what she wanted me to bring for lunch, some stuff I already have here or pick up something on the way. The call was only suppose to be 10 or 15 minutes, but it turned into 45, causing me to nearly lose my blog time..... I hope what I have to say comes fast. LOL !!
After yesterday's crazy "art"... loosely speaking, where I blamed it on some other unknown artist entity, today I take my full responsibility back. Yes... all of this is my fault. 😂
This is a little different style for me, maybe not style, but certainly a different composition. I like it! As it developed, before the birds flew in, I wasn't quite sure where it was going. The center somewhat looked like an abstract olympic'ish flame or something, but then, it turned into a bird bath....and then a group of bird baths with an egg shaped form in the base of the biggest one. For whatever reason, I really like it. Of course now I think I need a grouping of bird baths in my yard.
You have to love wanting things on a whim.
This is... .well... I have no idea. It wasn't made to have a candle in it persay, but it kind of looks like it may have one. Other than that, quite random, but somehow I find it a little interesting.
This is weird. This version was not really supposed to be the finished product, but now it may be. I painted the canvas board, I glued come collage papers too it that had complimentary colors throughout and then.... it sat around a while. Then...I crumpled up some wet strength tissue paper that is made for using in art and I glued it on top, wrinkles and all and let it dry. I still think that I thought it was still only a background for something else that would be added when I figured out what it should be. Then it has sat around like it is for a while and one day, I thought, hmmmm.... maybe it's done. Is it? Is it really? I'm not sure, but there is something I like about it in this form.
The center piece here, the yellow music with flower, you may remember having seen it before. I did expect it to become part of another piece one day, but when I was creating the "only blue" piece that makes up the papers in the background here, this is not what I was thinking of doing with it, yet, a few days later, there was the blue, there was the yellow, orange and blue contrasting bit and.... on it went! It might need a smidge of blue energy small paper dots here or there around the edge, but other than that, if it happens, this is mostly it. I loved the center piece for some reason and the blue background seemed to be a nice way to present it.
I actually was not sure I had not posted the B&W. I glanced back at a few posts and did not see it right off, so if I did, pardon me and if I didn't, here it is! I have to do a black and white once in a while, just because I can. I really like this one though.
Ok, that is all for me this morning, times a wastin and I gotta do something about this hair before I can be seen outside my house. 🤣
