My participation in the Qurator Facelift contest

Good morning Steemers, After Qurator announced a Facelift contest for their new Daily Qurator Cover and called all the designers in the community to join in, i though that i could give it a try and join the contest as i was partially working as a designer in the past, so i took their old design and changed the colours a little bit to match the logo colours but i kept the data structure intact and came up with the below two designs, hopefully they will like it.
