Another quick (~3 Hrs) portrait demo for my digital painting class that I painted today. Didn't record this one unfortunately but still have the process of course. I didn't get as far with this one as last week, but there's still some things I like in there.
Seems like the older I get, my perception of beauty and what I find interesting has shifted quite a bit. I feel like my appreciation is broader now. I think I used to be more narrow in my tastes. Like today as I was in front of my class looking for a picture to paint, I saw this one, and it really jumped out at me. Maybe it's because her face is so unique. Maybe when you get older, you've seen more, so something different is a welcome treat, I dunno, can't quite put my finger on it, I just like what I like I suppose.
Didn't really get into any details so as you can see in the closeup things are still pretty loose, but I like loose paintings so that doesn't really bother me. As always, also prepared a gif for you guys so you can see how things came together.
Hope you enjoy! Upvote, resteem, and let me know what you think in the comments pleeeeeease! ;)
P.S. This was painted in Photoshop.
