Todays sketches were arrived at by combining 3D and 2D tools. A lot of the time I'm taking the raw renders from Cinema 4D as is, but this time I modified those results in After Effects with some filters to get different looks.
This is what the render looked like out of C4D. I normally use a renderer called Octane which is exceptionally fast at producing photo real results, but this time I used the CD4 standard renderer because I wasn't really going for photorealism and there were a few things I needed that aren't supported in Octane.
Basically once I had that I brought it into After Effects and added stuff till I got something I liked. The initial C4D image is created with particles with trails moving along a curl noise field emitted from a human face model. Hmm...yea, that's about it.
Looks like the reward pool is starting to stabilize as rewards for the time immediately after the downtime have started to go out. I guess it couldn't last forever. I wonder now how far down the post values will go. We'll see.
Thanks for looking peeps!
