One of the assignments in the digital painting class that I teach is to paint a portrait and the focus is supposed to be just on flesh and the facial features, so hair is optional. Most of the time, I still do the demo with hair, but if I can find a nice reference without hair I'll do that from time to time as well.
This painting is from one of those times. This one was rather quick because there were more questions that class. Sometimes the students don't ask any questions so I just paint and yap, but other times I'm running around the class and helping people with different stuff.
Even though it was quick, I liked the overall read. You can see the roughness though on the close up. I can't find the psd for this one, might be on my work computer, so unfortunately no process this time. Hope you like anyway!
