"Spread love and positivity while we still can. Life is too short not to let people know just how much they mean to us."
Give That Man His Roses Animated Art.
Artwork and Music by Nathan J Taylor.
About The Artwork
In this mixed media piece of art "Give That Man His Roses", the artist explores the idea of appreciating and celebrating love ones while they are alive. This mixed media piece includes several drawings, paintings and digital art, all mixed together to create a vibrant and visually stunning work of art. But it's not just the visuals that make this piece so special. It's also the jazzy hip hop beat that accompanies it. This upbeat and uplifting track really brings the whole piece to life.
This visual and audio experience, it combines elements of city life and nature to create a unique and mesmerizing piece. The rotating rose in the foreground immediately grabs the viewer's attention, contrasting with the scrolling background of a bustling city. The added element of the profile of a man looking into the distance adds depth, sparking curiosity and making one wonder about his story and how it ties into the overall theme. The vibrant colors and groovy musical score enhance the sense of movement in the piece, creating an overall energetic atmosphere.
The Meaning Of The Art
Sometimes we wait for the perfect moment to give someone a compliment or express our gratitude. But why wait? We never know when life will throw us a curveball, and that person may not always be available to receive those kind words. That's why it's important to give people their flowers while they can still appreciate it. Too often we reserve praise for funerals and memorials while those who are living go without recognition. So let's make an effort to show appreciation in the present moment instead of waiting until it's too late. Give that man his flowers now before it's too late, and spread love and positivity while we still can. Life is too short not to let people know just how much they mean to us.
In Depth Look: The Symbolism Of The Rose
The rose is a symbol that has been used for centuries in literature, art, and culture. It represents love, beauty, and passion, but it can also represent pain and loss. In Greek mythology, the rose is linked to Aphrodite, the goddess of love. In Christianity, the five wounds of Christ are often represented by five red roses. In this way, the rose can symbolize both love and sacrifice. The thorny stem of the rose also symbolizes danger or caution in love. A white rose traditionally signifies purity and innocence while a red rose signifies romantic love and desire. However, these meanings are not set in stone and can vary depending on cultural context and personal interpretation. Overall, the versatile symbolism of the rose makes it a timeless symbol in many forms of expression.
The Artwork In Progress
I utilize a variety of methods and programs to create my work. Using Procreate on my iPad, I draw and color directly on the device. I also incorporated elements of traditional mediums in this piece, elements of this work are from my acrylic paintings, which are edited using Photoshop before being added to the digital piece. Finally, animation is edited using Premiere Pro to bring the entire composition together. Each step in the process presents its own unique set of challenges and opportunities, but the end result is a truly unique work of art. By combining both digital and traditional elements, my work blends modern technology with my personal artistic expression.
About The Music and Sound
"Give That Man His Roses" is a funk jazz jam. The beat features two bass guitars, 808 bass drums and a bright, airy saxophone. It's the perfect track for laying back and grooving to. As the basslines and drums lay down a solid foundation, the saxophone adds just the right touch of flair.
The bass guitar in this track has a magnetic pull, drawing you in with its smooth and groovy rhythm. You can almost see the music, like a 70's funk party coming to life before your eyes. The art piece is the perfect visual accompaniment - the colors and textures blending seamlessly with the catchy beat. Great attention was paid to both the artistic and musical elements of this piece.
